If your Wilderness Medicine Certification
expires between 3/10/2019 and 05/31/2021:

For the past ten months, life certainly has been well, different. The unthinkable happened; and things that we never thought possible, happened. As the old adage goes, the only thing that remains constant, is in fact change. We are pleased to announce that effective immediately, we have implemented a solution to help the many folks affected by the pandemic (in relation to certification expiration dates).

Certification Expiration Dates

We have decided to follow suit with other nationally-recognized wilderness medicine providers and will be *extending* the validity of current & recently expired wilderness medicine (all WFA, WFAA, WAFA, WFR & WEMT) certificates through the end of the year 2021.

In the Spring of this year, we extended all CWS-issued wilderness medicine certificates that were set to expire between November 2019 and  September 2020 to expire at the end of 11/2020.

You will only have ONE CHANCE to take and pass the quiz, so be sure to study before taking it! Seriously!
